It isn’t easy . . .
As a leader/administrator in missions, you are very aware of the challenges involved.
You long to make an eternal difference in the lives of individuals in other countries, and you are keenly mindful of the difficulties. There are funding issues, difficulties in maintaining good field relationships, finding the right people. And then that ever-nagging question:
“Are we actually accomplishing what God has in mind?”
Learn More About Our Methods

Are we missing something?

A lot of energy is being expended. Good people are going out, and reports are coming back of people choosing to follow Jesus! But there are also those questions:

“Why can’t the indigenous people who have decided to follow Jesus, make better choices in their
personal lives?”

“Why aren’t the people able to better pro- vide for their families?”

“Shouldn’t we be providing some Biblical financial teaching?”

“Even if we wanted to teach financial sustainability, where would we find the teaching
material?”

A proven curriculum for your ministry!

Good Steward International is a Bible-based, easily understood financial teaching course.
It is designed to connect with those living in ongoing poverty, and is intended to help them
develop a sustainable mindset and better provide for their families. Our curriculum has been used
in many countries, has a proven track record, and is very effective in changing how people view the resources God has placed in their care.

GSI walks with missions, providing everything they need to start a Biblical financial teaching program, designed to help them successfully operate a small business. We provide the curriculum, the experience, and the ongoing support required to help people rise out of poverty and be productive citizens in their communities. And beyond financial teaching, our curriculum focuses on the basic teachings of the Gospel, showing what it looks like to follow Jesus in daily life.

The software is a powerful tool to help managers and overseers understand how program beneficiaries are using Savings Groups. Graphs, maps and excel or PDF reports showing statistics like how many groups and members are in the program, meeting attendance, program dropouts, how dedicated the group facilitators are in teaching, GPS coordinates on maps display where the groups are operating, all group financial statistics, and much more.
Subscribing to the software is optional and not required however once programs are operating for a few years, the software may add significant value to the churches and development professionals ability to effectively manage a savings group program.  Good Steward International will provide an online demonstration of the software to those interested.
